Hapé Torched series Kuripes

A Kuripe is more than just a pipe — it’s a sacred tool, a bridge between breath and spirit. Traditionally hand-carved from wood, bamboo, or bone, each one is crafted with intention and prayer, carrying the energy of its maker. Compact and pocket-sized, the kuripe is designed for self-administration of Hapé (Rapéh), the sacred shamanic tobacco snuff used in ceremony for grounding, cleansing, and awakening.

The kuripe forms a direct pathway between the heart, the mind, and the nervous system — guiding the medicine from hand to breath, and into presence. Its “V” shape reflects balance and union: one end rests in the mouth, the other in the nostril, symbolizing the weaving together of spirit and body, earth and sky, silence and vision.

When used with respect, the kuripe becomes a teacher. It invites stillness, calms the mind, and opens subtle channels of awareness. Every use is a reminder of the conversation we hold with ourselves and with nature — a dialogue that strengthens our relationship with life force, with prayer, and with the unseen world.

Far beyond convenience, a kuripe is a personal ally — portable, intimate, and alive with meaning. To hold one is to hold a piece of tradition, a companion in the journey of healing, grounding, and remembering who we are.
